Bitboy’s Daily Crypto Show Comes to an End
After three years of running a popular daily crypto show, Ben Armstrong, also known as “Bitboy,” has announced its discontinuation. This decision comes as Armstrong faces financial strain and mounting legal bills.
Financial Strain and Mounting Legal Bills
In an emotional video on his personal YouTube channel, Armstrong revealed that the production costs for the show were $25,000 a week, making it no longer financially viable. Additionally, he disclosed that he was dealing with monthly legal bills of around $100,000.
“We’re barely making it out here, guys. We’ve got lawyers coming at me from every angle,” Armstrong expressed in the video.
In a farewell post on Twitter, Armstrong bid goodbye to his fans and expressed gratitude for the three-year journey.
“My daily crypto livestream has been my life. We had a good run. Three years. Every Monday through Friday without rare exception,” he stated.
Bitboy’s Rise to Crypto Fame
Bitboy gained fame in 2018 for his polished price predictions and news videos. His content resonated with the crypto trading public and turned him into a prominent figure in the industry.
In mid-2023, Armstrong created his own cryptocurrency called $BEN coin. However, his association with BitBoy ended due to “serious and personal allegations,” leading to a legal battle.
The subsequent months were filled with drama, including revelations of an affair with the CEO of BEN Coin and an arrest at the home of a former business partner during a livestream.
Hot Take: Bitboy’s Exit Marks the End of an Era
The discontinuation of Bitboy’s daily crypto show signifies the end of a three-year era. Armstrong’s financial challenges and legal battles have taken a toll on his endeavors, making it unsustainable to continue the show. His rise to fame in the crypto industry was marked by polished content and influential predictions, but personal controversies ultimately led to his downfall. As Bitboy bids farewell to his fans, it remains to be seen what the future holds for this once-prominent figure in the crypto world.
