Bitcoin Advocate DeSantis Outpaces Biden in 2024 Presidential Poll

A Quinnipiac National Poll shows that Trump leads pro-bitcoin candidate DeSantis 61-32 percent among Republican and Republican leaning voters, while DeSantis trails behind Trump with 25 percent support among Republican primary contenders.

As per Quinnipiac National Poll, Trump leads pro Bitcoin (BTC) candidate DeSantis 61 – 32 % between Republican and Republican leaning voters.

And once matched against the present President, DeSantis received 47 % and Biden received 46 % between all registered voters, the poll revealed.

Trump remains at top between Republicans

As the field of Republican presidential contenders in the 2024 primary race develops, previous President Donald Trump remains at the top of the list of declared or potential candidates with 56 % support between Republicans, followed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis with 25 percent, reports by a Quinnipiac National report.

On the other hand, Previous United Nations Ambassador and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley receives 3 percent. Previous Vice President Mike Pence, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, and previous New Jersey Governor Chris Christie each receive 2 percent.

DeSantis talks cryptocurrency with Elon Musk

Florida’s governor and the latest Republican Party’s leadership candidate talked about digital currencies and Bitcoin (BTC) in a Twitter space with Elon Musk (Tesla & SpaceX CEO) and deal investor David Sacks.

DeSantis stated he sees cryptocurrency as a question of civil liberties. Earlier, he signed legislation prohibiting the use of monetary authority digital currencies within the state.

Bitcoin (BTC) represents a threat to the present regime, they’re attempting to regulate it out of existence, DeSantis stated in the Twitter space from where he announced his Presidential candidate bid.

Nonetheless, Florida’s governor has a long way to go before he surpasses the leading candidate and the previous President Donald Trump. Trump’s views on digital currencies have been a little ambiguous.  During his presidency, he stated that he is not a fan of digital currencies as their value is according to thin air. On the other hand, thereafter he launched his own Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collections raising millions of dollars.
