Matter Labs recruits gaming expert from Activision Blizzard to enhance zkSync technology


Michael Lee, former VP of community at Activision Blizzard, has been promoted to senior VP of growth at Matter Labs, with a key focus on incorporating gaming into the zkSync platform to expand the company’s audience beyond crypto aficionados.

Michael Lee, who was most recently the vice president of community at Activision Blizzard, has been promoted to senior vice president of growth at Matter Labs. Incorporating gaming into the zkSync platform will be Leeโ€™s key focus.

Speaking to the gaming industry, Lee statedย that a wholeย lotย of impediment had been the need for proper infrastructure, and zkSyncโ€™s goal is to enable game production by AAA corporations and crypto-savvy game producers.

Leeโ€™s brief history of cryptography

During his time at Activision, Lee was responsibleย for the substantial player community that included games like Overwatch and Call of Duty, which had a combined total of 400 Million members.
