Litecoins Upcoming Halving: Anticipating a Surge in LTC Crypto Price

In just over a month, the third halving for the Litecoin blockchain will occur, leading to expectations of a rise in the price of LTC. Similar to Bitcoin, the rewards for miners will be halved every four years. Recent activity in the network suggests a potential comeback for Litecoin. The halving will happen at the height of the 2,520,000 block, reducing rewards from 12.5 to 6.25 LTC for each block mined. Unlike Bitcoin, Litecoin’s halving occurs every 840,000 blocks. The halving of Litecoin could contribute to its growth, as halving events generally generate scarcity and increase prices. However, the market outlook and other factors such as interest rates and geopolitical tensions also play a significant role. Litecoin is influenced by Bitcoin and may experience price movements prior to the halving. Technical analysis suggests strong support at $77 and the possibility of a pump if the psychological resistance at $100 is broken. The supertrend indicator suggests a bullish trend, while a slight bearish divergence on the RSI could push prices lower. Waiting for more definitive structures before taking a position is advisable. As of now, LTC is priced at $88.24, with a market capitalization of $6 billion and a trading volume of $518 million.
