He also mentioned the challenging regulatory climate in the United States, referring to it as “permafrost.” The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has taken an aggressive stance towards the industry, filing lawsuits against Ripple, Coinbase, Binance, and others, claiming that many cryptocurrencies are securities.
