Crypto Industry Sees $27 Trillion Inflow: CoinShares CSO Unveils Game-Changing Chapter

According to Meltem Demirors, the chief strategy officer at CoinShares, major financial institutions are entering the crypto space and expanding the potential investor pool for digital assets. She shared a chart on Twitter showing that a select group of large financial institutions with $27 trillion worth of assets under management have entered the digital asset space. Demirors believes that this indicates crypto as an asset class is here to stay.

While the entrance of institutions has been more gradual than rapid, Demirors notes that bridges are being built in real-time. She also points out that firms are choosing to build, buy, or partner when it comes to crypto offerings. Demirors argues that it’s important to provide investment pathways to all types of users, even if it means moving away from Bitcoin’s original vision.
