Paradigm has been involved in the crypto industry for years, investing in projects like Uniswap and being a financial backer of EDX Markets. However, the firm also faced losses when it was caught up in the FTX domino effect and lost over $270 million. Co-Founder Huang expressed shock at the event and believes it will lead to increased scrutiny before distributing funds to projects. Paradigm, along with other finance giants, was also accused of popularizing FTX through a marketing campaign in 2021.
