SushiSwap Expands to Consensys’ Linea Network

SushiSwap, a leading decentralized exchange (DEX), has announced its expansion to the Linea network developed by Consensys. Linea will become the 28th protocol that SushiSwap has expanded to, joining Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible networks like Polygon’s zero-knowledge EVM.

Sushi Deploys on Consensys’ Linea

Linea was launched by Consensys in July as a layer-2 network for decentralized finance applications, non-fungible tokens, gaming, and social apps. With low gas fees and high throughput, Linea is easily accessible for users and developers through integrations with platforms like MetaMask.

SushiSwap claims to be the first and largest Ethereum-native DEX to deploy on Linea. Users of Linea can now enjoy SushiSwap’s v3 liquidity provider experience alongside consumers on 25 other chains.

SushiSwap will collaborate with automated liquidity management (ALM) firms like Gamma and DeFiEdge to reduce liquidity provision risks and increase returns. The exchange plans to introduce Smart Pools, a v3 ALM solution by Steer Protocol, as a native feature on its platform. By leveraging Linea’s lower gas fees, SushiSwap aims to attract more trading activity and enhance liquidity for developers in the ecosystem.
