Introducing YEY: BlockchainSpace Launches Polygon-Powered Community Rewards Platform in Collaboration with Philippine Telco Giant for FIBA 2023

Singapore-based company BlockchainSpace has launched its Web 3.0 community-collectible platform, YEY, at the FIBA Basketball World Cup in the Philippines. The launch was made possible through a partnership between BlockchainSpace and Philippine telecom provider Smart Communications. QR touchpoints were strategically placed at tournament venues, allowing attendees on the Smart telecommunications network to receive exclusive Smart-FIBA Shinys as tokens of their participation. These Shinys also served as on-chain tickets for an off-platform promotional raffle. YEY is built on the Polygon PoS blockchain protocol and aims to simplify the crypto journey for users by offering a seamless, secure, and user-friendly onboarding process. The app also allows creators, games, and brands to craft exclusive digital collectibles in the form of NFTs called “Shinys.”
