The Terra Classic Community Invites Six Samurai Team to Return
The embattled Terra Classic community is making a move to invite the Six Samurai engineering team back to Terra’s chain. The community members have penned a signaling proposal, urging Solid Snake, a co-lead of the Six Samurai team, to orchestrate their return.
Blaming the Layer-1 Joint Task Force (L1JTF)
Pholuna, the author of the proposal, has accused the Layer-1 Joint Task Force (L1JTF) of causing gridlock on Astroport, resulting in around $700,000 being stuck. Astroport is a neutral marketplace on the Terra Classic network and serves as an important source of liquidity on-chain. However, according to Pholuna, “Astroport Classic remains broken with no repair in sight.”
Prominent Members Co-sign the Proposal
Several prominent members of the Terra Classic community have co-signed the proposal. These include Pholuna, Ecop, Utexvg, Rabbi, Jook Knights, Danny Demi Defi (Commander 3D), Bullboss validator, and Oneiric Stake validator. Currently, all Terra community members are participating in a live vote on the proposal through Terra Station. However, this proposal (#11788) has caused a divide among the struggling community members.
Terra Classic’s Restoration Efforts Led by Active Community
The restoration efforts for the Terra Classic chain are being led by an active community that believes in making decisions democratically through proposals.
