Registration Opens for Algorand Foundation’s Global Hackathon

The Algorand Foundation has announced the opening of registration for its global virtual hackathon, Build-A-Bull. With $200,000 in prizes, the hackathon aims to create consumer-friendly applications using the Algorand blockchain. The event will run from October 18 to November 15, 2023, and is open to anyone.

Build-A-Bull is a four-week hackathon that offers developers and entrepreneurs an opportunity to conceive a business concept, accelerate its development, and present a final product to expert judges. Participants will receive support, mentorship, and resources throughout the process.

Ryan Terribilini, EVP of Algorand Ventures, says that Build-A-Bull aims to attract promising builders to the Algorand ecosystem. The hackathon seeks high-potential startups and founders who can bring innovative projects to the Algorand blockchain.
