Warner Bros Partners with Funko for NFT Collection to Celebrate 100th Anniversary
Motion Pictures and Entertainment Company Warner Bros has revealed plans to launch a non-fungible token (NFT) collection to commemorate its 100 years in the film industry. The studio has teamed up with digital asset firm Funko for this initiative.
Details of the Warner Bros NFT Collection
In a blog post on September 22, Warner Bros confirmed its collaboration with Funko to release a new NFT collection marking its centenary. Funko is known for creating licensed pop culture collectibles such as vinyl figurines and bobbleheads.
The upcoming NFT collection, called WB 100th Anniversary x Funko Series 1, will be launched exclusively on the Dropp NFT marketplace on October 3. It will feature 15,000 standard packs and 15,000 premium packs. The standard packs will include five Digital Pops and will be priced at $9.99 per pack, while the premium packs will contain 15 Digital Pops and will cost $29.99 per pack.
Exclusive Physical Collectibles
Collectors who obtain any Digital Pop from the Legendary or Grail rarities will have the opportunity to redeem it for a rare physical collectible that corresponds to the Digital Pop. Additionally, collectors who gather one of each Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic Digital Pop will be eligible to receive a limited edition physical collectible figure created exclusively for the WB 100th Anniversary x Funko Series 1 release.
