Alleged Arrest of Ben ‘Bitboy’ Armstrong Following Livestream Rant Rumored

Crypto Influencer Ben Armstrong Arrested Outside Former Business Partner’s House

Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, formerly known for his Bitboy Crypto YouTube channel, was reportedly arrested by Gwinnett County police last night while livestreaming outside his ex-business partner’s house. Armstrong claims that his Lamborghini, which was allegedly given to him by HIT Network, is in possession of his former partner.

Recent Events Leading to the Arrest

This incident follows Armstrong’s departure from HIT Network, the company that owned the Bitboy Crypto brand. Additionally, just a week ago, Armstrong’s attempt to reclaim the company’s namesake failed.

Prior to his arrest, Armstrong posted on Twitter that he would be livestreaming from a “very special location,” which turned out to be the house of crypto investor Carlos Diaz. Armstrong believes Diaz is connected to HIT Network.

Allegations and Police Intervention

During the livestream, Armstrong accused Diaz of wanting to harm him and claimed that Diaz has connections with the mafia. He also expressed constant fear for his safety.

About 19 minutes into the stream, local police arrived to question Armstrong. They asked if he had a weapon on him, to which he responded negatively but mentioned having one in his car.

During a pat-down search, when asked if anyone else was in the car, Armstrong hesitated before admitting that a woman named Cassey was present. He claimed that she is involved in the situation with Diaz and that they stopped at Diaz’s house after his daughter’s tennis match.

Armstrong further alleged that Diaz had been extorting him, sending death threats, and stealing his Lamborghini. The livestream abruptly ended after 17 minutes without any image or sound.

Charges and Confirmation

Following the livestream, a listing on the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office website revealed that a person named Benjamin Charles Armstrong was arrested for loitering/prowling and simple assault by causing fear to another. The arrest occurred on September 25 at 9:11 PM.

Diaz has since released home security camera footage confirming that Armstrong was indeed at his house and rang the doorbell.

Decrypt reached out to Ben Armstrong and HIT Network for comment but received no response at the time of publication.
