Launched in 2021, Magic Eden is a decentralized marketplace that facilitates peer-to-peer trading of NFTs. Initially built for the Solana blockchain, the platform has expanded to include support for Ethereum, Polygon, and Bitcoin.
The NFT marketplace has experienced significant growth since its inception, raising $130 million in Series B funding in July 2022 and achieving a valuation of $1.6 billion. How Does the VIP Feature Work?
Magic Eden VIP is an invite-only program and white glove service tailored to top collectors seeking a personalized, cross-chain digital collectible shopping experience. The VIP program offers three main features:
- Appraisal: Helps users determine the true value of their desired collectibles.
- Procurement: Enables users to acquire high-value digital collectibles while saving time and effort in curating their NFT collection.
- Discovery: Allows users to explore upcoming NFT artists and acquire their favorite drops.
To participate in the VIP program, NFT collectors must submit an application and wait for a response within three to five business days. Once approved, participants will be asked to complete a brief survey to customize their experience according to their individual preferences.
