Transformed Residence into an Urban Farm
A recent report has revealed that the spouse of Su Zhu, co-founder of Three Arrows Capital (3AC), has turned their residence into a thriving urban farm. The property, located in the Yarwood Avenue area in District 21, has undergone a creative transformation by Dr. Evelyn Tao.
A Farm Haven with Gardens and Composting Zones
The once $35 million bungalow now features numerous garden beds and composting zones. It is surrounded by Balinese-styled homes and offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy fine dining, attend agriculture classes, and take guided tours of the Good Class bungalow.
Focused on Climate-Appropriate Food
The urban farm is associated with Tao’s Abundant Cities Singapore project, which focuses on urban permaculture and tropical permaculture research. It aims to provide climate-appropriate food to its patrons. However, Teneo, the liquidator for 3AC, declined to comment on the farm.
Financial Troubles and Bankruptcy
Zhu and his associate Davies faced financial difficulties after the Terra fallout in May 2022. They filed for bankruptcy in July 2022 and launched a new project called OPNX in 2023. Creditors in the Hodlnaut case objected to OPNX acquiring the firm. Meanwhile, Zhu is currently serving a four-month jail term following his arrest, while Davies remains at large.

Amidst the financial troubles of 3AC’s co-founders, Su Zhu’s spouse has created a green oasis by transforming their residence into an urban farm.
