Rising Incidents of SIM-Swapping
ZachXBT, a blockchain investigator, reported multiple exploits on Oct. 4 involving SIM-swapping attacks. Users shared that their accounts were compromised after bad actors gained control of their mobile numbers through SIM swapping. The incidents resulted in scammers stealing approximately $385,000 worth of Ether between Oct. 4 and 5.
