Nintendo’s Animal Crossing Game to Get Lego Sets in March 2024

Nintendo’s popular game franchise, Animal Crossing, is set to receive the Lego treatment with five sets scheduled for release in March next year. The game’s beloved animal characters such as Isabelle, Tom Nook, and Fauna will be transformed into Lego minifigures. The Lego site also reveals that Kapp’n, Julian, Bunnie, Rosie, and Marshal will be offered in Lego form.

The five sets vary in size and price. Smaller sets like “Julian’s Birthday Party” ($15) and “Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities” ($20) feature one character each and fewer pieces. On the other hand, larger sets like “Kapp’s Island Boat Tour” ($30) and “Isabelle’s House Visit” ($40) include two characters, larger objects, and more pieces. The biggest set, “Nook’s Cranny & Rosie’s House” ($75), offers two characters, two buildings, and a garden space.

Animal Crossing is one of Nintendo’s top-selling game franchises, with the first release in 2001 in Japan. It has since become a pop culture phenomenon, inspiring rap songs from artists like T-Pain.

Nintendo and Lego have previously collaborated on Super Mario-themed sets and a detailed recreation of the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) console. The upcoming Animal Crossing Lego sets are expected to be highly sought after by fans of both franchises.
