Miners, independent data centers, and crypto projects with access to GPU computation are likely to become providers in this network. By compensating GPU suppliers for their contribution, io.net aims to create a robust market that supports the thriving AI sector.

They estimate that repurposing these farms for GPU providing could result in a 1,500% increase in earnings while using less energy. Currently, io.net already has 36,000 GPUs at their disposal as they work towards their goal of one million GPUs.
