Banca Sella has announced the seven finalist projects of its Artificial Intelligence Business Incubator program. The initiative, launched last June, involved 72 startups from 14 countries that developed AI-based solutions for the finance sector. The projects utilized technologies such as deep learning, machine learning, generative models, and synthetic data to create innovative solutions for banking and financial processes. The incubator program was implemented in collaboration with dpixel and with the support of the Fintech District. The seven finalists include Italian projects such as Dedalo AI, Ellycode, Eoliann, Plino, and WiseLoop, as well as Lawpera from Israel and Legal-Phytia from the UK. These projects will now enter a coaching track called the “sprint period” and will be presented at a Demo Day in November.
Banca Sella has also launched an international accelerator program based on the metaverse. The program aims to support startups in the finance sector that utilize decentralized technologies and blockchain protocols in the Web3 metaverse. Called “Metaverse 4 Finance,” the initiative aims to accelerate the development of startups that can bring Web3 benefits to businesses by optimizing infrastructure, improving user experience, and providing “as-a-service” solutions. Banca Sella’s Venture Incubator dpixel is involved in identifying and supporting innovative startups in this field.
