Alex Jones Misses Out on 10,000 Bitcoin Gift

Alex Jones, the host of Infowars, missed the chance to recover a gift of 10,000 bitcoin that he received from Max Keiser over a decade ago. Keiser offered Jones the opportunity to answer five questions about Bitcoin in order to regain the lost bitcoin. However, Jones failed to answer any of the questions correctly.

The Quiz Questions

The questions posed by Keiser were as follows:

  • How many total bitcoin will ever exist?
  • How often does the difficulty adjustment occur?
  • What is the name of the core hashing algorithm?
  • How frequently do new blocks appear?
  • Is Craig Wright Satoshi Nakamoto?

Jones’ Response and Keiser’s Frustration

Jones jokingly stated that he was glad he didn’t win the 10,000 bitcoin because he might not be alive today. Meanwhile, Keiser expressed his frustration with Jones’ lack of seriousness and knowledge about Bitcoin. He criticized Jones for not taking the opportunity to study Bitcoin during all those years when he could have been sitting on a fortune.

Keiser’s Blunt Criticism

Regarding the last question, Jones assumed it was a trick question due to the increase in bitcoin’s price. However, Keiser pointed out that anyone who followed the news would know the answer. He criticized Jones for not being well-informed despite being surrounded by piles of news articles.

Hot Take: Alex Jones Misses Out on Millions

Alex Jones failed to answer a series of Bitcoin questions correctly and therefore missed out on regaining 10,000 bitcoin gifted to him by Max Keiser. Jones’ lack of knowledge and seriousness regarding Bitcoin frustrated Keiser, who believed Jones had wasted the opportunity to study and profit from Bitcoin’s rise. While Jones claimed he was glad he didn’t win the bitcoin, the gift’s value today would be over $350 million. This serves as a reminder of the potential gains that could have been made by early adopters of cryptocurrency.
