SK Telecom Partners with Aptos and Atomrigs Lab for T Wallet Development
SK Telecom, the largest mobile carrier in South Korea, has announced a partnership with Aptos and Atomrigs Lab to develop its web3 wallet service called T wallet. The collaboration aims to strengthen SK Telecom’s connections with customer-preferred mainnets and decentralized applications, with a specific focus on T wallet.
This partnership marks SK Telecom’s first integration of a non-Ethereum virtual machine blockchain through Aptos. Avery Ching, co-founder and CTO of Aptos, expressed excitement about unlocking new classes of internet experiences through MoveVM, emphasizing sub-second latency, high throughput, and enterprise-grade operations.
Bullish on Web3
SK Telecom’s collaboration with Aptos follows its recent partnership with CryptoQuant for the launch of T wallet. This wallet allows users to access a blockchain-based application on their phones to store tokens. Additionally, in August, SK Telecom partnered with Polygon Labs to further develop its web3 ecosystem.
