Ripple CEO Gears Up for XRP Legal Battle in the Highest Court

Ripple CEO Announces Plans to Take SEC Case to Supreme Court

Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, announced at DC Fintech Week 2023 that his firm will be taking its case against the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to the Supreme Court. Garlinghouse revealed that his firm was offered a settlement but refused, feeling confident that the SEC would not win the case. He believes that this reflects Ripple’s current advantage in the legal battle over XRP’s security status. Despite this legal battle, Ripple’s XRP token has seen significant gains, surpassing $0.69 and achieving double-digit growth in November. The token has risen by 35% since the beginning of the year and by 80% in just one month.

Hot Take: Ripple Stands Firm Against SEC Proposal
