Uniswap Launches Completed Version of Wallet App for Android Users
Uniswap has officially released the finalized version of its wallet app for all Android users, following a short beta testing phase that began last month. The app introduces a straightforward mobile user interface to its decentralized exchange (DEX), which currently holds the title of being the largest in the entire crypto ecosystem.
Key Features of the Uniswap Wallet App
- Users can now swap tokens across 8 different blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, and Arbitrum, while managing their tokens and NFTs in one place.
- They also have the ability to track other traders and view balances in 6 new languages & 18 new currencies. Additionally, swaps on the app will be protected from MEV, guarding them from frontrunning and “sandwich attacks.”
The Android version of the Uniswap wallet was highly anticipated within the community, according to Uniswap Labs vice president of design Callil Capuozzo. He believes that it will attract a significant number of users due to the variety of devices and configurations that Android supports.

To celebrate the launch, Uniswap is also giving away 10 USDC to a random group of 10 users to help them get started. Currently, Uniswap boasts a Total Value Locked (TVL) of $3.63 billion, making it the fifth-largest DeFi protocol at present. The market cap of its native token, UNI, is $3.8 billion. However, according to CoinGecko, UNI is down 7.2% on the day.
