A recent survey commissioned by Coinbase reveals that the majority of institutional investors are optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency prices in the next year. According to the survey, 57% of participants believe that crypto prices will trend higher over the next 12 months, a significant increase from the 8% who held this view in the previous year’s survey.

Furthermore, none of the survey participants anticipate decreasing their crypto portfolios, with almost half of those who currently do not have crypto allocations expressing their intention to enter the space within the next three years.

The survey also shed light on the asset classes that institutional investors view as providing attractive risk-adjusted returns in the next three years. Notably, 41% of respondents see cryptocurrencies as offering significant opportunities, while private equity, U.S. equities, and emerging market equities also garnered positive sentiment among survey participants.
