In a recent interview with Defi and NFT platform Defiant, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin discussed various topics related to the crypto industry. During the interview, Buterin expressed his views on the Turkish cryptocurrency environment, stating that Turkey is a significant hub in the crypto world. He also mentioned that he receives a large number of comments from the Turkish audience whenever he posts on social media.
Buterin then delved into the future roadmap of Ethereum. He emphasized the need for a positive approach towards “staking centralization” and highlighted the importance of redesigning Ethereum’s staking system to improve decentralization. He also discussed the upcoming Ethereum upgrade EIP 4844, which aims to enhance data mapping capabilities.
However, Buterin’s mention of UTxO (Unspent Transaction Output) sparked mockery from Cardano supporters. They sarcastically referred to Ethereum 3 as a solution to all problems, highlighting the different approaches used by Ethereum and Cardano in their blockchain models.
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson responded to the criticism by stating that Cardano’s achievements are often overlooked by Vitalik and the Ethereum team. He argued that Cardano has been working on similar concepts for years without receiving recognition.
