How Does the Illuvium DAO Work?
The Illuvium DAO is a decentralized online community based on tokens. It consists of several sub-councils, including the main council, game council, strategy council, marketing council, and community council. Why Does Illuvium Use Immutable X?
Illuvium has chosen to utilize Immutable X, a layer-2 Ethereum scaling blockchain developed by Immutable. This choice was made because Immutable X allows for “off-chain” NFT minting and does not require its native token, IMX, for transactions. Furthermore, Immutable X enables gasless activities, eliminating the need for players to sign every change made to their NFT collections using their crypto wallets.
What is Illuvium Arena?
Illuvium Arena is a player-vs-player turn-based creature battle arena game. Players deploy Illuvials as cards onto a game board and watch them automatically engage in battles. The game offers various modes, including Survival mode where players fight computer-controlled opponents and Ascendant mode for climbing the leaderboard through PvP battles. Illuvium Arena is currently accepting registrations for its open beta and is available on PC and Mac.
What is Illuvium Overworld?
Illuvium Overworld is an open-world role-playing game set in the Illuvium universe. Players can explore diverse regions, forge gear, harvest resources, and catch Illuvials through mini PvP experiences. When encountering a new challenger, players are transported to an Arena battle setup where they must use their Illuvials to try and capture the opponent. Illuvium Overworld is currently open for beta registrations and is compatible with PC and Mac.
What is Illuvium Zero?
Illuvium Zero is a real-time strategy game where players can build and manage their own digital industrial complex. The game revolves around resource extraction, allowing players to use the fuel they extract in Illuvium Overworld or sell it on the Illuvidex for cryptocurrency. Illuvium Zero is currently in its alpha version and is exclusively available to land NFT owners. It will be released for Android devices, Mac, and PCs.
What is Illuvium Beyond?
Illuvium Beyond is a fully-released NFT-based browser experience where players can use their Illuvitar NFTs to climb a leaderboard. Each Illuvitar can be customized with different accessories and traits that contribute to their power rating. The objective of Beyond is to maximize each Illuvitar’s power rating through accessories and accumulating Album Points. It functions as a competitive art modification and collection game. Beyond features a ranked system with six tiers, from unranked to diamond.
