Streamr Announces Launch of Testnet 1 for Streamr 1.0
Streamr is excited to announce the upcoming launch of Testnet 1 for Streamr 1.0, a critical step towards the completion of its roadmap and the full readiness of the decentralized network. This first incentivized testnet will take place from December 4th to December 11th, serving as a precursor to the release of Streamr 1.0 in February 2024.

How to Participate in the Testnets
To earn a share of the DATA tokens, participants can become an Operator or a Delegator. Operators are expected to properly forward messages to other connected nodes with good uptime and sufficient hardware resources. The amount of DATA tokens staked on a Sponsorship determines the size of the share of the token flow.
