DOGE-1 Satellite Project Receives Regulatory Approval
The Dogecoin-funded SpaceX ‘Doge-1’ Moon Mission has taken a major step forward as it has secured key regulatory approval from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). This approval is crucial in obtaining the final Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license, which will address the satellite’s communications.
The DOGE-1 satellite project is being developed by Geometric Energy Corporation and is set to launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Samuel Reid, the CEO of Geometric Energy Corporation, has confirmed the approval of DOGE-1 X-Band by the NTIA. However, the project still awaits the FCC license grant for both X-Band and S-Band communications.
Dogecoin Community’s Real-World Impacts
The Dogecoin community continues to make positive real-world impacts using their cryptocurrency’s influence. From sponsoring NASCAR drivers to raising funds for clean water projects in developing countries, Dogecoin’s generosity has been recognized and celebrated. Recently, the Mayor of Sakura City even acknowledged their contributions by donating a bronze statue, turning it into a popular tourist attraction.
This demonstrates how cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin can be used to create tangible and meaningful change beyond just financial transactions.
