The Blockchain4Youth Initiative
Bitget launched the Blockchain4Youth initiative in May 2023 to support innovative Web3 projects over a five-year period. The initiative aims to tap into the growing crypto adoption among Millennials and GenZs, who have the highest rate of crypto ownership.
Shortlisting and Pitching Session
The first shortlisting round for the initiative took place on November 26 in Bangalore, India. The top 10 selected startups, including Nexus Network, Blockflow, Lync, Sadaiv, 0xRivendall, StationX.network, Plena Finance, Reax, and Wallet X, will pitch their projects at the BUIDL for Web3 Summit’s pitching session SPOTLIGHT on December 4.
Funding Opportunities
The selected startups have the chance to receive funding up to $100,000, subject to due diligence under the Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth $10 Million initiative.
Support from Industry Leaders
Simran Alphonso, PR and Communications Lead at Bitget, stated that the goal of the initiative is to accelerate web3 and crypto adoption in Asia by supporting the new generation of innovators and founders. Kaavya Prasad from Lumos Labs and Raghu Mohan from Buidlers Tribe also expressed their support for the selected startups and emphasized the inclusive and innovation-driven nature of the web3 technology startup sector.
