Jito Launches $225 Million Token Airdrop on Solana
Solana-based DeFi platform Jito has initiated its highly anticipated token airdrop, distributing approximately $225 million worth of tokens to Solana users worldwide. The airdrop began on Thursday and introduced the Jito (JTO) token at an initial price of $6.01. The allocation plan designates different percentages of tokens for community growth, ecosystem development, core contributors, and investors. Currently, there are 115 million JTO tokens in circulation. The token airdrop aligns with Jito’s roadmap, and the platform intends to continue conducting additional airdrops in the future.
