FIFA has partnered with tech firm Modex to launch a new digital collectible collection called ‘FIFA+ Collect.’ The first drop of 100 digital collectibles will be available on December 15 and will offer the chance to secure FIFA World Cup 26 final tickets. More collectibles will be launched during the FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia. This time, FIFA will use the Polygon network to mint its non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The NFTs will also be available on the OpenSea marketplace. FIFA Chief Business Officer Romy Gai said that FIFA+ Collect has been immensely popular and that the association has plans for future digital collectibles.
