Evernode, a layer-2 blockchain protocol on the XRP Ledger, has announced that the registration for its upcoming airdrop has closed. A total of 38,478 addresses successfully signed up for the airdrop out of over 430 million eligible addresses. Notably, customers from Bitrue and Upbit were among the registered addresses. Evernode is now processing the data for the airdrop and an update is expected from Xumm Wallet soon.
Preparing for Distribution: Evernode Crunches Numbers and Builds Distribution Hook
Following the closure of registration, Evernode is now preparing for the distribution of the airdropped tokens. The team is crunching numbers and building a Distribution Hook to facilitate the process. The update on the progress will be released in conjunction with Xumm Wallet’s Xahau update.

The airdrop is specifically aimed at XRP holders with balances of up to 50,000 tokens. The total amount of tokens being distributed is 5,160,960 Evers. Holders with larger balances are required to have separate accounts in order to qualify for the airdrop.
