Luxury dry gin brand Coladka has collaborated with Moonbirds, the team behind the popular blue-chip non-fungible token collection Moonbirds, to release an NFT-branded dry gin. The luxurious Moonbirds alcoholic drink can now be ordered online in 34 states.
Coladka Partners with Moonbirds for NFT-Branded Gin
In a blog post on December 14, Moonbirds CEO Kevin Rose confirmed the partnership with Coladka to introduce a non-fungible token-branded alcoholic beverage just in time for the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Moonbirds, which launched in April 2022, is a non-fungible token collection on the Ethereum blockchain featuring a limited set of 10,000 NFTs. The collection’s distinctive pixel-art style was created by Moonbirds co-founder Kevin Rose and Justin Mezzell, the chief product officer of PROOF.
A few months later, Moonbirds launched Moonbirds Oddities, a unique NFT addition to the original collection, serving as a special subset. These Oddities were given as airdrop rewards to Moonbirds holders who achieved the Bronze Nest status after staking their NFTs for 30 days.
Moonbirds has gained popularity among collectors in recent months. Kevin Rose even compared his NFT collection with other popular NFTs like Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club. Coladka aims to leverage the Moonbirds brand to sell its alcoholic drink during the festive season.
NFT-Branded Items Continue to Rise
Moonbirds joins the growing list of digital asset firms utilizing their brands to create non-fungible token-branded products. Recently, Bored Ape Yacht Club partnered with BAPE to launch NFT-inspired footwear and apparel. Pudgy Penguins, known for their Pudgy Penguin and Lil Pudgy NFT collections, also released NFT-inspired toys.
