Streamr Announces Start of Testnet 2
Streamr is excited to announce the start of Testnet 2, following the successful launch of Testnet 1. This second incentivized testnet will run from December 21st to January 8th and offers a reward pool of 1.5 million DATA tokens for node Operators.

How to Participate in Testnet 2
To earn a share of the DATA rewards, participants can either become an Operator by downloading the latest version of the Streamr Node or delegate their DATA tokens to a reliable Operator. Operators ensure proper message forwarding, while Delegators provide liquidity in the form of DATA tokens.
Testnet 2 Details
The testnet will be funded with 1.5 million DATA tokens and will run until January 8th, 2024. Node Operator penalties will remain low, as in Testnet 1.
