Using the Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK) library in Python, the report calculated cumulative scores for positive, negative, and neutral sentiments in each tweet, post, and article.
On Reddit, 84% of discussions about cryptocurrencies are positive for 2023. This indicates that the platform’s users are enthusiastic about crypto and see positive prospects. On X (formerly Twitter), over 65% of tweets about cryptocurrencies have a positive sentiment. The United Kingdom leads the ranking of countries supporting crypto on Twitter, while Argentina has the least support for crypto.
Crypto Sentiment 2023: Analysis on Every Coin
The report also analyzed the sentiment for each coin in 2023. Tether (USDT), Solana, and Uniswap have the most positive discussions on social media with 88% positive scores. Toncoin follows with 82%, and Ethereum and Shiba Inu have an equal merit of 80%. Cardano, Chainlink, Dogecoin, and Bitcoin also have high percentages of positive sentiment. Binance Coin (BNB) has the least positive online discussions.
