The AI token is part of a decentralized gaming project that combines artificial intelligence technology with social interactions. The project has received support from VC companies such as Binance Labs, Foresight Ventures, and Folius Ventures. Its mission is to provide virtual encouragement to people experiencing loneliness and lack of affection in their daily lives.
Sleepless AI offers two games called HIM and HER, where users can engage in virtual relationships with bots that provide emotional support. The bots speak intelligently and their personalities change based on user interactions. The AI token is used for various purposes within the platform, such as getting discounts on game token recharge and participating in gameplay governance issues.
The listing of the AI token on Binance highlights the growing importance of blockchain and cryptocurrency in the gaming sector and opens up new opportunities for investors and enthusiasts. The Sleepless AI game is currently only available on the Binance Smart Chain network but may expand to other blockchains in the future.
Binance concluded the listing of the AI token at 10:00 UTC, marking a milestone for the blockchain gaming industry. Before listing on Binance, the Sleepless AI project raised $3.7 million from private token sales. To celebrate the debut of AI in the cryptocurrency market, the token was included in Binance’s launchpool section, allowing users to farm it starting from December 28, 2023.
Additionally, an airdrop was conducted for the first users of the platform to support the launch of the project and the AI token. Although small compared to other projects, this airdrop helped attract public attention to Sleepless AI.
At listing, the AI token’s price surged from an initial price of $0.03 to reach $2.58 before closing at $1.37 in its first 15 minutes of trading. The token’s price growth in the first hour of trading on the AI/USDT market was around 38,000%, with a trading volume of approximately $125 million. These dynamics are common for new cryptocurrencies listed on Binance.
Looking ahead, the AI token is expected to experience a bullish price action in the coming months, driven by a positive outlook for the broader cryptocurrency market and its reduced initial circulating supply compared to its maximum supply. Currently, Sleepless AI has a market capitalization of around $145 million.
