Agam’s background and experience
Prior to joining Chainalysis, Agam served as the CISO for professional services firm Celonis for two years and at software company Appian Corporation for three years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Chainalysis’s cost-cutting measures
In October 2023, Chainalysis had to reduce its expenses by cutting 150 employees, which accounted for about 15% of its staff. The company cited market conditions as the reason for this decision and stated that it would focus on government contracting instead of the commercial market.
