Vivek Ramaswamy Drops Out of Presidential Race, Endorses Trump

Pro-crypto Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has withdrawn from the 2024 presidential race after receiving fewer votes in the Iowa caucuses. He plans to throw his support behind Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

Ramaswamy announced his decision after Trump’s victory in the Iowa caucus, stating that there are two America First candidates in the race and that he will fully endorse Trump moving forward.

Expressing his gratitude for the support he received during his campaign, Ramaswamy acknowledged the disappointing results of the primary election, where he only secured 3 delegates. He emphasized that his campaign was centered around speaking the truth.

“The people spoke loud & clear about who they want. Tonight I am suspending my campaign and endorsing Donald J. Trump and will do everything I can to make sure he is the next U.S. President. I am enormously proud of this team, this movement, and our country.”

Trump garnered 51% of support in the Iowa caucus, securing 20 delegates, while Ramaswamy only received 7.7% support from voters.

Despite Ramaswamy’s endorsement of Trump, he faced criticism from the former president on social media, with Trump claiming that a vote for Ramaswamy is a vote for the “other side.”
