Mobile game developer iCandy Interactive has teamed up with blockchain gaming company Animoca Brands to release a new game called Snaky Cat on Base, the layer-2 Ethereum scaling network developed by Coinbase. Inspired by classic Snake games, Snaky Cat is a multiplayer game where players control snake-like cats that grow longer by consuming food drops. By competing to become the longest cat and climb the leaderboard, players can win crypto rewards in TOWER tokens.
Play-to-Earn Mechanics and TOWER Token Usage
In order to participate in each round, players must purchase tickets using TOWER tokens and connect a crypto wallet. However, the play-to-earn feature allows players to earn TOWER in return. The TOWER token is already utilized in three other games developed by iCandy: Crazy Kings, Crazy Defense Heroes, and Chaos Kingdom.
