Altcoins Set to Reach Unimaginable New All-Time Highs, Says Analyst
A prominent crypto analyst predicts that altcoins will surpass their previous all-time highs and reach unprecedented levels. Michaël van de Poppe shares his bullish outlook with his large following on the social media platform X. He assures traders that altcoins will not only break their previous records but will also exceed expectations, with new heavy-hitting projects yet to emerge.
Ethereum Awaits Next Breakout
Van de Poppe focuses on Ethereum (ETH), the top altcoin by market cap, stating that it is currently in a “waiting game” before its next significant upward movement. The analyst notes that ETH has successfully flipped the $2,150 level as support and is awaiting a breakout for continuation towards the $3,500 mark. At present, ETH is valued at $2,560, representing an 11.3% increase over the past week.
Bitcoin Faces Resistance at $50,000
Regarding Bitcoin (BTC), the leading cryptocurrency by market cap, Van de Poppe highlights that BTC is encountering resistance after reaching the $48,000 level. He expresses uncertainty about BTC’s future direction after breaching the $50,000 threshold in the next one to two weeks. Currently priced at $49,737, BTC has seen a 16.5% surge in value over the past week.
