NFT ‘lifestyle club’ World of Women gears up for its second annual Gala
The NFT lifestyle club, World of Women (WoW), is preparing for its second annual Gala event in Paris. The event will showcase the club’s new NFC-enabled wearable, the Friendchip bracelet. The Gala will take place at the Pavillon Gabriel on February 24, 2024, between NFT Paris and Paris Fashion Week. It is described as a celebration of the convergence of technology, culture, and identity in the digital age.
According to WoW’s Head of Creative Jordan Zucchiatti, every aspect of the Gala has been carefully curated to immerse guests in the heart of WoW lore. The event will feature music from local talents, interactive stations by POAP Studios, on-theme makeup application by Sephora Universe, and exclusive whiskey tastings by Suntory’s Sakazuki Experience.
The WoW Awards
During the Gala, WoW will present the WoW Awards to recognize achievements and future pioneers within the community. The awards cover five categories: Imaginative Art, Creator of the Year, Trailblazer of the Year, Community Builder, and Web3 for Good.
Friendchip is magic
The Gala will also serve as a showcase for WoW’s Friendchip bracelet. This NFC-equipped wearable links to members’ profiles on WoW’s networking platform called Patio. For the first time, Patio has been opened up to Guest Profiles, allowing non-members to experience the WoW vibes.
