Gala Games Launches New Roguelite Game
Gala Games recently announced the early access launch of their latest game, Superior. The game is a roguelite where players are required to own Prime Character NFTs in order to join the battle against rogue superheroes.
Stop the Rogue Superheroes
In Superior, players have the important mission of stopping a group of rogue superheroes who have caused chaos in the world. By using advanced teleportal technology, players can go back in time to stop these villains at critical points in their conquest. Guided by a rebellious bartender robot, players will embark on missions to defeat these corrupt heroes and collect their ‘Juice’ to gain new abilities.
Battle Enemies and Gain Powers
The game presents a fast-paced environment where players will face numerous enemies, with each one more challenging than the last, as they progress towards the final boss of the mission. By defeating enemies, players can collect power-ups that enhance their movement, firepower, and abilities. Players can select from a range of weapons or opt for melee attacks for a more close combat experience. Accumulating experience points from missions allows players to upgrade and customize their Skill tree. Once they reach the maximum level, they can increase their Infamy level, unlocking more advanced skill options.
Use NFT Prime Characters
Early access to Superior is exclusively reserved for players who own Prime Character NFTs. Currently, there are three Prime characters available: Ronin, Nomad, and Murmur. These NFTs can be acquired from the Gala Games store or the OpenSea secondary market. Players must hold Prime Character NFTs in their connected Ethereum wallet to have them appear in the game. If purchased on GalaChain, they need to be bridged to Ethereum for game use.
Each Prime character has different rarities that affect the player’s starting Infamy level. Characters with higher rarities provide a boosted Infamy, reducing the time required to gain experience and unlocking advanced Skill Tree options more rapidly.
The Infamous Prime Characters
Players commence the game with an enhanced Infamy level based on the rarity of their Prime character, allowing them to access more of the Skill Tree and prepare for tougher challenges. Each new Infamy level boosts the character’s maximum Skill Points, enabling more effective gameplay and strategic advantages.
For players who already own a Prime Character, the game is ready for download and play on the Gala Games platform.
