Police in Thailand is on the lookout for four Chinese individuals suspected of breaking into a luxury home in Pathum Thani, one of the central provinces in the country. The intruders reportedly forced the resident to transfer $2 million in cryptocurrency assets during the break-in.

The Crypto Robbery Incident 🏦

During the early hours of the morning, armed individuals invaded the property where six residents, including three men and three women, were present. The suspects, wearing masks and armed with weapons, restrained the residents and coerced one of them to transfer a substantial amount of cryptocurrency to their account.

  • The victim, a Chinese businessman named Ke Jibao, and his wife were asleep when the invasion occurred.
  • The intruders bound Ke, his wife, and a maid before initiating the cryptocurrency transfer.
  • After securing the funds, the assailants fled the scene with the victim’s car and server containing security camera footage.

As a result of the robbery, Ke sustained a minor injury while his male helper suffered injuries during the altercation with the suspects. Authorities later located the stolen vehicle, abandoned near a power plant, for further investigation.
