Revamped XP System 🎯
Several transformations have occurred within the xp system, aimed at refining how points are accumulated:
- Points for bridging tokens into the Taiko ecosystem are no longer awarded.
- The method of calculating Transaction points has been updated to provide a greater xP for transactions of higher costs, with a new ceiling of 1000 xp per transaction.
XP Accumulation Categories 📊
Participants can garner points through three distinct categories:
- Transaction – Points are awarded based on the gas expended.
- Transaction Value – Points determined by the value exchanged, maintaining the same criteria as Season 1.
- Proposed Blocks – Points earned for proposing new blocks by managing core infrastructure.
XP Benefits from Season 1 🎁
As a gesture of gratitude, participants will receive a portion of their xp from Season 1 to kick off Season 2. In addition, participants can earn further xp boosts for holding a Taikoon or unique Season 1 Faction Badges, capped at a total of 150,000 xp boosts.
Leaderboard Enhancements 📈
The leaderboard will now integrate NFT multipliers throughout the entire season, rather than applying these boosts only at the conclusion. The points gained for various actions will be multiplied according to the NFTs held at that moment. Note that multipliers are not applicable retroactively.
Newly introduced Teams, notably Whales and Minnows, join the existing Developers team, each bringing unique Faction editions and tailored point multipliers for distinct actions.
