In contrast to his enthusiasm for Nvidia, Wald expressed reservations about Boeing. The aviation manufacturer faced a challenging year, starting with a significant incident involving an Alaska Airlines flight. As a result, Boeing shares saw a decline of just over 32% over the course of 2024, marking its fourth down year in the last five. He stated, “We don’t favor relative weakness,” highlighting the stock’s struggles despite a bullish market overall. “Avoid this one,” he advised.
