What is Symbiogenesis?
Symbiogenesis is a digital collectible art project that uses Ethereum and Polygon for its NFTs. In the game, humanity lives on a floating continent and must face a massive dragon. The ending of the game will be determined by three lucky players who make choices about the fate of the fantasy world.
The game is set to launch in December.
How can I play Symbiogenesis? Do I need an NFT?
You can play Symbiogenesis for free without needing any NFTs. However, if you want to become one of the three players chosen for the final quest, you will need to buy or mint an NFT character. Square Enix won’t be offering a traditional NFT mint but will release smaller quantities of original character NFTs with each story chapter.
Symbiogenesis game modes
The game will offer six chapters that players must complete to potentially become one of the final three who get to decide the story’s ending. It will also feature missions and quests, with missions unlocking the main storyline and quests requiring more teamwork.
Symbiogenesis will have Daily Rewards, Information, Missions, Story, Character, Quest Item, Collections, and Roles tabs. Players can find their character NFTs under the character menu and create NFT replicas there as well. The game will also have three different synthetic currencies: Slot Release Points (SP), Replica Issue Points (RP), and Conversion Points (CP).
