In the past week, Cardano (ADA), Stellar (XLM), and The Sandbox (SAND) have all experienced price increases following the bull run in the crypto market. ADA saw a 10% increase, rising from $0.2621 to $0.2871, while XLM saw a 14% increase from $0.07 to $0.09. SAND also experienced a 10.70% increase, rising from $0.38 to $0.42. However, SAND’s price has slightly decreased in the last 24 hours. These price increases are in line with Bitcoin’s rise to over $30,000 in the past week.
Looking at the latest news from the projects, Cardano is hosting a contest for NFT proposals to become the official collections of the Cardano Summit 2023. Stellar has announced the integration of its blockchain-based USD Coin (USDC) into Coinbase’s crypto platform. The Sandbox is focusing on its metaverse and has recently celebrated Elvis Presley’s legacy in the metaverse.
In other news, Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, addressed rumors of layoffs within the company. He clarified that the employees were transferred to other branches and mentioned the creation of 3 to 5 companies each year as part of Cardano’s long-term plans for decentralization.
