Advancement of DOGE-1 Space Mission Nears Reality as FCC License is Obtained

Geometric Energy Corporation Receives FCC License for DOGE-1 Mission

Samuel Reid, the CEO and founder of renewable energy-based logistics firm Geometric Energy Corporation, announced that his company has obtained a license from the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for the highly anticipated DOGE-1 mission to the moon.

Multiple Approvals Secured for DOGE-1 Mission

The FCC has authorized Geometric Energy to use and operate radio transmitting facilities for communications in accordance with the program of experimentation described in their license application. This news comes shortly after the Dogecoin-funded space mission received approval from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA).

The launch of DOGE-1 has faced several delays, with SpaceX being partially responsible. The mission is set to be part of a rideshare on the Nova-C/IM-1 mission, a collaboration between Intuitive Machines and NASA. The goal is to send Dogecoin into space, showcasing its potential beyond the traditional crypto market.

This mission highlights Dogecoin’s power and potential. Once in space, DOGE-1 will transmit images and advertisements back to Earth using an attached screen. With both NTIA and FCC approvals now secured, the DOGE-1 satellite is scheduled to launch by January 2024.

The announcement of these approvals has already had a positive impact on Dogecoin’s price. The token recently experienced a significant increase, trading above $0.08 for the first time since the memecoin frenzy in July. Currently, Dogecoin is up 3.4% at $0.0833, resulting in a market capitalization of $11.3 billion.
