Notably, Chatgpt 3.5 did not provide an answer, and Chatgpt 4 warned that its estimate should not be relied upon for investment decisions. The experiment aimed to evaluate the likelihood of bitcoin’s price at the end of 2023, considering the uncertain global macroeconomic landscape. The current price of bitcoin was $30,700, and there were 191 days until the end of the year. The next reward halving was expected in April 2024, which could potentially influence the price by the end of 2023. However, bitcoin’s price is also affected by regulatory changes, market sentiment, and macroeconomic factors. Bing AI predicted that the price of bitcoin on December 31, 2023, would be around $40,000 based on inflation, the halving effect, and increasing adoption.
