Worldpay Partnership to Enhance Alchemy Pay’s Payment Channels
Alchemy Pay, a fiat-crypto payment gateway, has teamed up with Worldpay, a payments processing firm, to strengthen its payment channels and capabilities. Through this partnership, Alchemy Pay users will now have access to Worldpay’s Visa and Mastercard payment rails via its on and off-ramp service.
According to Alchemy, this collaboration will result in improved efficiency and customer experience for users who use their credit and debit cards to trade cryptocurrencies. Additionally, Worldpay plans to support Alchemy Pay’s non-fungible token (NFT) checkout, making these tokens more accessible to a wider audience.
Prior to this announcement, Alchemy Pay had obtained a Money Services Licence in the U.S. state of Iowa, placing it on par with established payment providers. The company has also received approval in Lithuania, Indonesia, and Canada, and is seeking licenses in the U.K. and Hong Kong.

A Positive Outlook for Seamless Cryptocurrency Transactions
Robert McCracken, the Ecosystem Lead at Alchemy Pay, expressed his optimism about the partnership with Worldpay. He stated that by leveraging Worldpay’s global reach, Alchemy Pay can better serve its business partners and users with seamless cryptocurrency transactions worldwide. McCracken also believes that the collaboration will contribute to the wider availability of digital assets.
Nabil Manji, the Head of Crypto and Web3 at Worldpay, emphasized the alignment between Alchemy Pay’s goal of connecting fiat and the Web3 economy and Worldpay’s mission of bridging the gap between traditional and digital finance.
